Ruth López is a Salvadoran lawyer and women human rights defender (WHRD) who has been arbitrarily detained since May 2025 in reprisal for her work defending human rights and fighting corruption in El Salvador. Her case has been featured in WHRDIC’s “Spreading the Echo” campaign.
On the occasion of Ruth’s birthday, we would like to share an initiative by her organisation, Cristosal, and invite you to join us in sending her messages of love, solidarity and support.
